• Carbon shock, carbon cranks, 4Ti eggbeaters
• SRAM RED road front derailleur (10sp), with adapter to make top-pull. Cage and bolt Ti. All much lighter then MTB mechs.
Also Powercordz shifter cable, with iLinks housing.
• Carbon FSA K-force light duo cranks. Just the two chain rings - 29/42.
• XTR shadow rear derailleur, and XTR cassette. Powercordz shifter cable (polymer cable), with iLinks housing (Al links)
• Avid Elixirs will be replaced by Formula R1s when I can get them.
Stem bolts have been changed to Ti. The stem, Ritchey WCS, and bars, EC90 CNT, are off my old race bike.
• The saddle, Selle Italia SLR, it off my old race bike. The seatpost, Bontrager XXX light, came with the frame.
• The cage bolts have been changed for Al.
• Magura Durin SL, slightly lighter then SIDs. 32mm stanchions, so not too flexy.
• The steel shifter (XTR) bolts have been swapped out for Al bolts.
The brake caliper bolts have been exchanged for Ti.
• The shock is an all carbon construction, and is gimballed to relieve any lateral or twisting forces put on it by the linkages. Also it's a 'full-floater' which means nothing other then it doesn't connect to the frame at all, only the linkage arms. The evo link there is magnesium.
• The wheels, American classic rims laced with sapim C-Xray spokes to tune hubs, are off my old race bike.
• Still shiney!

• After being ridden for the first time. look at it, it's filthy!
Verdict: very VERY fast up. Needs some work on the way down!

• Mud!
• My two rides: the Bionicon Super shuttle free-ride, and the Trek Top fuel 9.9 SSL. Both customised.
