  • Trail at end of Forrestal Drive (start).
  • Looking back on Forrestal after a short climb. Flying Mane is on top of the bluffs.
  • On Canyon or Dauntless, edge of Portuguese Bend Preserve. Note Bike symbols on marker.
  • Lower part of PB Preserve. I rode up the trail at left center, then right, then left between the tree clumps.
  • Same spot as previous, panned to the right.
  • Burma Road at lower edge of burn.
  • From road, above entrance to Eagle's Nest Trail.
  • Same location as previous, looking up. Trail Head at Del Cerro is top far right.
  • Burn area and Ishibashi Trail from Burma Road.
  • View from top towards Portuguese Point and Abalone Cove.
  • View from top towards Forrestal Preserve and Trump National Golf Course.
  • Showing the colors at Del Cerro.
  • On Ishibashi Trail. Some areas of burn are covered with low growth (was grassy/open?), some are still black (brush, higher temp burn?).
  • Just starting to bloom - whole area should be a riot of flowers by end of March.

  • One section of Burma Road had unique surface formed by sandstone layers at 45 degree angle.
